T. Mariotti to Build Two Auxiliary Vessels for the Italian Navy

Two new auxiliary vessels

T. Mariotti hasbeen awarded the construction of two new auxiliary vessels for the ItalianNavy.

The vessels areintended to support lighthouse and maritime-signalling maintenance, as well asthe transport of equipment, personnel, and solid and liquid cargo. They will becapable of operating in Italian and international waters.

Their designincludes a modular architecture and an aft working area prepared formission-specific deployable modules.

Building on SDO-SuRS

The project builds on T. Mariotti's ongoing workon the SDO-SuRS (Special & Diving Operations – Submarine Rescue Ship), theshipyard's first military contract, intended for submarine rescue and specialoperations.
